How to check whether the microphone is installed under Windows Vista:

1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2. You can switch to classic view mode on the left side of the window.

3. Double-click the sound and select the Recording tab in the sound properties.

4. This recording tab will display the installed microphone.

How to check whether the microphone has been installed under Windows 7:

　1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2. Click Hardware and Sound and then select Manage Audio Devices.

3. This recording tab will display the installed microphone.
