What to do if the Internet connection speed of Acer laptop Windows 7 is slow

A computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system pre-installed. Upload speeds are normal, but download speeds are extremely slow. Tried disabling Ipv6 and the Ipv4, but neither solved the problem.

Solution:

　1) Go to Power Options in Control Panel.

　2) Click Change plan settings next to the current power plan.

　3) Click Change advanced power settings.

4) Expand the wireless adapter settings.

5) Expand energy-saving mode.

6) Change the settings to maximum performance.
