LePad A1 is a 7-inch portable tablet computer, using Texas Instruments' TI OMAP 3622 processor, clocked at 1GHz, 512MB RAM, 16GB ROM, Bluetooth 2.1 and equipped with Android 2.3 smart operating system. LePad A1 is smaller and lighter, and its wide-frame design makes it easy to hold even with two hands. It uses a 16:9 TFT screen with a resolution of 1024×600, but only supports two-point touch, which affects operation to a certain extent in some applications.
Since A1 does not support 720p format videos very well, we chose an ordinary video to play in a loop during the battery life test. The brightness of the machine was adjusted to medium and the volume was 30 About %, the result is that after 110 minutes of looping video, 30% of the power is consumed. From this, we estimate that the battery life of A1 is about 6 hours.
After launching the upgraded version of the LePad S1 and the LePad K1, Lenovo has added a new member to its tablet family. The 7-inch LePad A1 focuses on portable mobility, and its overall performance is quite satisfactory, which is pretty good among first-tier brand tablets.
