Apple’s new generation of tablet computers—the second generation of iPad products, is called iPad 2. Apple iPad 2 supports a variety of wireless communication standards, and can support Wi-Fi, UMTS, CDMA alone, optionally with 3G functionality, or a combination of the three. Compared with the first generation, iPad2 is thinner, lighter, faster and has front and rear cameras. The iPad 2 uses a lighter carbon fiber material to replace the original brushed aluminum casing.
