How to set the power button in the "Start" menu to the shutdown function on a Lenovo notebook is as follows:

Lenovo Notebook

1. Click "Start" -->"Control Panel"-->"Power Options", select "Change plan settings".

2. Select "Change advanced power settings".

3. Select "Power Button and Lid" - "Start Menu Power Button" - "Power On" - "Shut Down", and then click OK.
