The ASUS UX21E series uses Windows Easy Transfer. First, please download and install Windows Easy Transfer corresponding to the current operating system version.

"Windows Easy Transfer" supports the following operating systems:

　1.Windows XP (SP2 and later versions) to Windows 7

　2.Windows Vista (SP1 and later versions) to Windows 7

< p>"Windows Easy Transfer" supports transfer through one of the following methods

　1.USB Easy Transfer Cable

　2.Network connection

< p>　3. Removable media (such as USB flash drive or external hard disk)

Additional information

Can use network, USB convenient transmission cable, removable media or external hard drive to transfer files and settings. Windows Easy Transfer does not migrate installed programs. Both computers must support the selected transfer method. For example, if you choose to transfer data over a network, both computers must be connected on the same network. Same network.

Step 1: Save the transfer document from the old system

　1.) Open the Start menu and point to Windows Easy Transfer in the search bar.

2.) Click Next in the program window.

　3.) Select the method of transferring files.

Note: This instruction selects an external hard disk or USB flash drive as the transmission method.

4.) Select This is my old computer in the list.

5.) Windows Easy Transfer will check the files that can be transferred.

6.) Select the file you want to save and click Next.

7.) The next window will ask you to enter a password. This is optional. You can also click Save to skip it.

8.) Select the directory to save the transferred document, name the file and click Save.

9.) ProgramStart saving the file.

Note: The length of the retention time depends on the size of the file.

10.) After saving, click Next to close the program.

Step 2: Transfer files to the new computer

1.) Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 in step 1.

　2.) Select "This is my new computer" from the list.

3.) The program will prompt whether the file has been saved from the old computer, select "Yes".

4.) Select the transfer file previously saved on the mobile device and click to open.

5.) The account will be displayed in the list, select the file to be imported, and click Transfer.

6.) The program begins to transfer user files and settings to the new computer.

7.) When the transfer is completed, the program will list the successfully transferred files.

Display the list of software that needs to be installed in the program list to support the transferred files.

8.) The program will prompt that everything is completed and may prompt to restart the computer.

9.) After restarting, all transferred files and directories can be opened.
