Lenovo notebook users can use the "System Restore Wizard" to manually create a restore point on their computer at any time. In the following situations, the system will automatically create a "restore point":

　1. Install an unsigned device driver.

2. Install applications compatible with "System Restore" (using Windows Installer or Install Shield Pro 7.0 or above to install applications will cause "System Restore" to create a restore point.)

　3. Install updates through Automatic Updates.

4. Perform a "system restore" operation so that the user can undo this system restore operation when needed.

5. Use the "Backup Tool" to restore data from backup media.

　6 Create daily restore points (If the computer is turned on, "System Restore" will create a system restore point every 24 hours. If it is more than 24 hours since the last system restore point was created, " System Restore" will also create a system restore point.)

7. Administrators can manually create system restore points.
