How to back up ASUS UX21E series Windows 7 files as follows:

1.) File Backup

File Backup: Windows File Backup can make copies of all users’ data files on the computer, and can restore individual files and folders as needed. Please click Start==>Control Panel==>Backup and Restore.

a.) If you have never used Windows Backup before, click Set Up Backup, and then follow the steps in the Set Up Backup Wizard to back up.

b.) If a backup has been created before, you can wait for the regularly scheduled backup to occur, or click Backup Now to manually create a new backup.

2.) System Image Backup

Windows Backup can create a system image, which is an accurate image of the disk drive. System images contain Windows and system settings, programs, and files. If your hard drive or computer stops functioning, you can use a system image to restore your computer's contents. When you restore a computer from a system image, it is a complete restore. There is no option to restore individual items, and all current programs, system settings, and files will be replaced. Please click Start==>Control Panel==>System and Maintenance==>Backup and Restore==>Create system image, and follow the wizard prompts to set up.
